The right to training in health, safety and working conditions is an individual right. Consequently, it is up to the member of the staff delegation of the CSE to activate his right to a training leave when he wishes to benefit from it.
All members of the staff delegation of the CSE receive training in health, safety and working conditions.
The regulation sets the duration of training in health, safety and working conditions, only for the members of the CSSCT, at :
- 3 days minimum when the company’s workforce is less than 300 employees;
- 5 days minimum when the company has at least 300 employees.
The training must be renewed when the members of the staff delegation of the CSE have exercised their mandate for four years, consecutive or not.
The CSE can decide, by a deliberation, to devote a part of its operating budget to the financing of the training of the local representatives, in particular when the agreement which sets them up does not envisage this question.
